Monday, December 16, 2013 - 305 hits

Students: will you have an 3.5 cumulative GPA after fall grades post? Will you be at the Altoona campus for at least another two semesters? Are you up for a challenge? If you answered “yes!” to the previous questions, consider applying to the Penn State Altoona Honors Program! Dr. Rotunno is accepting applications now and you could be a part of the program as soon as spring semester!

Besides offering you really great classes and exciting opportunities to work one-on-one with professors, the Honors Program provides perks like a great community of students who want to get more out of their Penn State Altoona education, field trips to New York and DC, interesting service projects (one associated with the Flight 93 Memorial), priority registration, social events with free food, and even great sweatshirts.

Read more about the program at and email Dr. Laura Rotunno at with any questions you may have.
