Penn State Altoona's Academic Affairs Office invites you to attend the International Beatles Conference hosted by Penn State Altoona.

"It Was 50 Years Ago Today!: An International Beatles Celebration" will be held at the Penn State Altoona Devorris Downtown Center February 7-9, 2014, to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Beatles' legendary appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. The conference will include film screenings, musical performances, art and photography exhibits, and keynote addresses by leading Beatles critics and musicologists. During the conference, Mark Lewisohn, the world's leading Beatles scholar, will be on hand to deliver a presentation and sign copies of his much-anticipated Beatles biography.

The conference will conclude with a very special screening of the original Ed Sullivan Show as it was broadcast on February 9, 1964, at 8:00 p.m. in the Devorris Downtown Center.
