As part of Penn State Altoona's International Beatles Celebration, held February 6-9, students were invited to participate in the Tell Me What You See: Images Inspired by Songs of the Beatles art exhibition, sponsored by CANVAS, the student art club on campus. Faculty of the college's Visual Art Studies program selected works to be included in the exhibition, and invited judges chose award winners, who were announced during the conference's opening reception.

First place went to Aarron Shuma for "John Lennon." Hannah Sherian took second place for "Helter Skelter," and Nick Grega received third place for "I Am the Walrus." Honorable Mentions went to Bryce Brindle, Kelly Gajewski, and Aarron Shuma.
