Trash to Treasure set for May 31

Penn State Altoona will hold its annual Trash to Treasure sale from 8 a.m. - noon, Saturday, May 31 in the Adler Gymnasium.

Community members will be able to purchase gently used items including appliances, electronics, athletic equipment, furniture, clothes, books, cleaning supplies, dishes, and decorations. All proceeds will benefit the United Way of Blair County.

Penn State Altoona students may drop off any unwanted items in the bins of their residence complexes April 21-May 10 to be put up for sale at Trash to Treasure.

Faculty and staff may drop off items May 27-30, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., in Adler Gym.

Volunteers are needed to help prepare for the sale and to help on sale day. To volunteer, please contact the United Way of Blair County at 814-944-0884, extension 302.
