The Next Generation Indie Book Awards has selected Kenneth Womack’s novel Playing the Angel for Best Cover Design in its annual fiction awards category. Womack is also the author or editor of numerous works of nonfiction, including Long and Winding Roads: The Evolving Artistry of the Beatles (2007) and The Cambridge Companion to the Beatles (2009). His next Beatles-related book, The Beatles Encyclopedia: Everything Fab Four, will be published in June 2014.
