Another postseason award rolled in Wednesday morning for Penn State Altoona baseball freshman Pat McHenry (Christiana, PA/Octorara), who was voted to the first team of the Eastern College Athletic Conference's Division III South Region All-Star squad.

McHenry posted tremendous numbers in his first year with Penn State Altoona baseball, ranking at or near the top of many offensive statistical categories within the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. He led the league in doubles (19), runs batted in (46), total bases (104), and slugging percentage (.754), and he ranked second in home runs (10), third in runs scored (41) and on-base percentage (.482), and sixth in batting average (.399).

Among all Division III baseball players, McHenry ranked eighth in slugging percentage, 12th in home runs, 14th in home runs per game (.24), and 35th in total bases. In addition to being selected as an ECAC All-Star, he has also been voted the AMCC's Newcomer of the Year, first team All-AMCC, and first team All-Mideast Region after the conclusion of the season.

Voting for the ECAC Division III South Region All-Star team was completed by head coaches of baseball teams from member institutions within the region.
