Womack's latest book hits the shelves

Kenneth Womack’s book, The Beatles Encyclopedia: Everything Fab Four, was recently published in celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the band’s triumphant first visit to the U.S.

Published in two volumes, the encyclopedia provides casual fans and aficionados alike with a comprehensive study of the historical, cultural, and musical influence of the Beatles, providing hundreds of insightful entries that address the people, places, events, and other details that have contributed to the band's status as a global phenomena.

Womack serves as Penn State Altoona's senior associate dean for Academic Affairs and as professor of English and Integrative Arts. He is also the author or editor of numerous works of nonfiction, including Long and Winding Roads: The Evolving Artistry of the Beatles (2007) and The Cambridge Companion to the Beatles (2009), which was named as The Independent’s “Music Book of the Year.”
