Spring 2009 Commencement Speaker: Dr. John Romano
Penn State Altoona held its spring commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Blair County Convention Center. The commencement speaker was Dr. John Romano, vice-president of Commonwealth Campuses at Penn State.

Penn State Altoona presents Anderson Cooper
Penn State Altoona's Speaker Series will feature Anderson Cooper, host of CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. in the Adler Athletic Complex on campus. The title sponsor for the event is The Castle Group, along with media sponsors WTAJ-TV and the Altoona Mirror. Tickets for the event are on sale now. Please contact the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at 814-949-5091 for information. Proceeds from Speaker Series events will benefit the Penn State Altoona Future Fund.
