International Student Services
The Office of International and Exchange Student Services seeks to enhance the academic success and personal development of all Penn State Altoona students, focusing specifically on the unique needs of our foreign and exchange students. We offer programs and services that support and encourage academic success and promote involvement in campus life and in the surrounding community. Our office staff presents and assists with campus events that build a strong sense of community and enhance the well-being of all students.
Foreign Student Advisers
Students may send email messages to firstname.lastname@example.org to communicate with a Foreign Student Adviser (FSA) or other representative of International Student Services at University Park, concerning immigration-related procedures and maintaining F-1 or J-1 status. Among a variety of responsibilities, FSA's are the only Penn State officials authorized to sign US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and State Department documents, as well as granting off-campus employment authorization for international students.
