Gamma Phi Beta, an International Sorority, has been a part of the Penn State Altoona Greek Life since 2003. Our sorority is one of the 10 oldest women's organizations in North America, dating back to our founding date of November 11,1874, at Syracuse University in New York. As Gamma Phi Beta, our mission is to inspire the highest type of women hood and promote love, labor, learning and loyalty into our everyday lives. We represent the Zeta Pi Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta here at the PSU Altoona Campus. We also have the highest GPA among Altoona’s Greek Life. Throughout each year our sorority hosts events and participates in fundraisers. Some of our events include Zumba for THON and Breast Cancer, our "Putting On The Hits" Talent show, and 3v3 basketball tournaments; all to fundraise for great causes. Outside of our campus, we also help run a Breast Cancer 5k, as well as going canning to raise money for THON and Bounce, a Central PA Foundation. Our sorority is filled with strong women who want to promote lifelong commitment, intellectual and personal growth and service to humanity.
