RESIDENCE HALLS: MOVE IN DATE

Move in date for first year students is Thursday, August 21. Watch for information to be sent to you re: your assigned move in time and the day's scheduled activities.

LIVING OFF CAMPUS?

Contact your landlord to receive move-in information. With New Student Orientation beginning Thursday, August 21, apartment students will normally move -in prior to the campus move-in day or on the same date.

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION (NSO)

NSO is scheduled for Thursday, August 21 through Sunday, August 24. Watch for information on this mandatory session to come your way. Once finalized, the schedule will be posted on the NSO website at http://www.altoona.psu.edu/stulife/orientation/2008/.

Fall semester 2008 classes begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 25.

Announcing the Penn State Football Express!

Now you can attend Penn State football games and save money on gas and parking. Beginning August 30, Fullington Bus Line will offer round trip transportation between Altoona and University Park for all Penn State home football games.

The bus will depart from Penn State Altoona's Ivy parking lot four hours prior to kick-off. Tickets are $18 roundtrip and must be purchased in advance by calling Fullington Bus Line at 814-693-7630. The bus will drop off passengers at Bull Barns near the intersection of Park Avenue and Fox Hollow Road (across from the Stadium). The bus will pick up passengers one hour after the conclusion of the game at the Bull Barns location. Tickets are available to all customers, regardless of affiliation with Penn State Altoona. All tickets are for the round trip. One way tickets are not available.
