Crime Alert & Silent Witness Program
The purpose of the Crime Alert program is to allow community members access to recent information on crimes. University Police will post the Crime Alert posters around campus to inform the community that a crime has occurred and is as of yet, unsolved.
The University Police request that anyone with information on the crime or possible suspects involved contact the department.
If you have information, please call University Police at 949-5222 or complete an online form to report any information. Callers may remain anonymous.
Unless citizens report crimes promptly, and participate in and support crime prevention efforts, the criminal justice system operates under a severe handicap. If crimes are never reported, little can be done to help other members of the community from also being victims. The University community can be much safer with your assistance. You can assist by reporting unusual activity to the police immediately. The likelihood of arresting an offender drops with each minute of delay in reporting.
It is our policy to attempt not to trace the origin of an email sent via this form, unless such is deemed necessary for public safety. Persons may also report crime through the Centre County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-35-CRIME or Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1800-4-PA-TIPS.
Call University Police at 814-949-5222 to report any information. Callers may remain anonymous.
