About Cheerleading

The Penn State Altoona Cheerleading Club performs mainly performs during men’s and women’s varsity basketball athletic events. In addition they have competed in several showcases and competitions around eastern Pennsylvania. Each year, the goal of the club is to compete at a national competition. In the past the team has competed in “JamFest” in Atlantic City.

Try outs for the team are typically held in the beginning of September.
