George Sackandy

George Sackandy is the CEO and Founder of Intelmarx, a software solutions and services company dedicated to helping nonprofits achieve their organizational mission. Mr. Sackandy is a graduate of Columbia University with a BS in Psychology and New York University with a MS in Psychology. He has enjoyed a 25 year career in the hospitality industry, most recently with responsibility for leading the sales and marketing efforts of the 28 hotel portfolio of Crown American Hotels in Johnstown. He finished his career at Crown as the VP, Strategic Corporate Partnerships on the publicly held REIT side of the Crown portfolio in 2000. After consulting with technology companies to help them gain financing, in 2006 Intelmarx won the “ Big Business Plan” competition sponsored by the Ben Franklin Technology Partnership of Central PA. In 2010 the company opened an affiliate office in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In 2011, in response to market demands, the company launched a managed services division, providing counsel on all aspects of nonprofit operations.
