Today, after leaving Florence, we started towards the Parmigiano Reggiano factory that specializies in parmesan cheese. I never knew how much work went into making a cheese, but the entire process and aging of the cheese was something completely new to me. From there, we made our way to our final city, Milan. The weather was beautiful with the sun shining and the temperature in the 70s. We immediately took the metro into the city to see Milan's duomo, an enormous cathedral still being built.

After, we explored the city a little more. Milan is the fashion capital of the world, and it showed with hundreds of designer brand stores lining the streets. We ate lunch in the galleria, a huge shopping mall near the cathedral. From there, we continued to explore the city until we were too exhausted to keep going and returned to the hotel.
