The Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence is an official academic center of Penn State Altoona. The Center supports academic research, education, and community engagement in entrepreneurship. The Center strives to advance the practice of entrepreneurship to stimulate economic growth and development through new company formation, small business counseling, and improved competitive performance of entrepreneurial ventures.

Steve and Nancy Sheetz care deeply about students and feel that the entrepreneurial center at the campus' downtown location provides an important educational opportunity that otherwise does not exist in this region.
