Women's Bowling Opens Season Against St. Francis

ALTOONA, Pa. - The Penn State Altoona women's bowling team lost a pair of events to Saint Francis University on Sunday to open their 2011 schedule.

The Lady Lions lost the five-person team game, based on total pinfall, to St. Francis by a score of 829-733. Toni Watt (Altoona, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle) led the squad in this format by bowling a 160.

In the baker system, also based on total pinfall, Penn State Altoona lost 642-608.
