Ramos, Lock Named to Men's Cross Country All-Conference Team

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Penn State Altoona freshmen runners�Chaz Ramos (Freeport, NY/Freeport) and Michael Lock (Juniata, PA/Juniata) were named to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's Men's Cross Country All-Conference Team on Monday.

Ramos was the top runner for the Lions in each of the six races he competed in this season. His best 8K time of the season came on September 17 in the York College Classic, when he finished in 29:23.

Ramos earned an AMCC Men's Runner of the Week award for his performance at the Hood College Open on October 22, when he placed 14th out of 83 runners with a time of 29:51 in the 8K. He also finished 16th during the AMCC Championships on October 29, clocking in at 30:27.

Lock posted a season-best time of 30:44 in the William Smith College Championship on October 15. He placed 23rd in the AMCC Championships on October 29 with a time of 31:19.
