Smith Notches 100th Career Hit

ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Altoona sophomore second baseman Brittany Smith (Bellefonte, PA/Bellefonte) recorded her 100th career hit during her team's Friday afternoon win against D'Youville College at Behrend Field.

Smith's 100th hit came on an RBI double to left-center field in the bottom of the fifth inning that gave the Lady Lions a 1-0 lead.

With 100 hits, Smith is currently tied for fourth place on the team's all-time hits list with former Penn State Altoona catcher Erin Cline.
