Women's Tennis Drops Home Opener to Mount Aloysius

9/7/2012 — ALTOONA, Pa. - Penn State Altoona women's tennis opened its 2012 schedule on Friday at the Adler Tennis Courts with a 7-2 loss to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Mount Aloysius College.

The Lady Lions' two points came from victories in #2 Doubles and #6 Singles.

In #2 Doubles, the tandem of Samantha Fulare (Altoona, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle)/Cassie Yatcilla (Downingtown, PA/Downingtown East) battled to an 8-6 win.

In #6 Singles, Leah Stoehr (Altoona, PA/Altoona) defeated her opponent 6-0, 6-2.
