Women's Soccer Drops Road Contest at Capital

9/12/2012 — COLUMBUS, Ohio - Penn State Altoona women's soccer traveled to face non-conference opponent Capital University on Wednesday afternoon and lost 8-0.

The Crusaders scored four goals in the first half and four more in the second half.

Capital's Natalie Fiorelli notched a hat trick, while teammate Livvy Hein scored twice.

Penn State Altoona goalkeeper Mackenzie Strubhar (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) made eight saves for her team.

Morgan Ayala (Middletown, PA/Middletown) led the Lady Lions in total shots attempted with four.
