Men's Soccer Drops Game at Frostburg

9/18/2012 — FROSTBURG, Md. - Penn State Altoona men's soccer was defeated 3-0 by Frostburg State University on Tuesday night.

Frostburg's Ryan Russell recorded a hat trick, scoring one goal early in the game and two more in the latter stages.

Russell put his team up 1-0 at 8:23, taking a pass in the box and beating the keeper to the left.

The Lions nearly tied the game at 41:58 when Karl Stephan's (Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley Regional) shot hit the crossbar.

Russell added insurance goals at 82:19 and 85:30 for the Bobcats.

Penn State Altoona's Brandon Moss (Springfield, NJ/Jonathan Dayton) made a pair of saves in the loss.
