Women's Soccer Loses to Washington & Jefferson

9/23/2012 — ALTOONA, Pa. - Penn State Altoona women's soccer lost a non-conference matchup against Washington & Jefferson College on Sunday afternoon at Spring Run Stadium.

The Presidents scored their first three goals of the game in a 58-second span beginning at 6:34.

The visitors built a 5-0 lead by halftime and added five more goals in the second half.

Washington & Jefferson's Holly Shipley scored five goals and had one assist, and teammate Chrissy Marcius tallied four assists.

Katy Cook (Hollsopple, PA/Bishop McCort) made five saves in 67:02 in goal for Penn State Altoona.
