Men's Golf Holds Down 4th Place After Day One at AMCCs
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. - After the first day of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship at Oak Tree Country Club, the Penn State Altoona men's golf team is in fourth place with a team score of 342.
Penn State Behrend leads the competition with a 314, followed by La Roche College (319) and Medaille College (330).
Wes Elder (Roaring Spring, PA/Martinsburg Central) leads the Lions after shooting an 82 on the par 71 course.
Tom Trexler (Bellwood, PA/Bellwood-Antis) finished the first day with an 85 for Penn State Altoona, and Chris Boyer (West Chester, PA/B. Reed Henderson) was third on the team with an 86.
