Oyler Named AMCC Offensive Player of the Week

10/22/2012 — PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Penn State Altoona freshman midfielder Quinn Oyler (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's Offensive Player of the Week for men's soccer on Monday.

Oyler posted a strong performance for the Lions last week, scoring two goals on two shots to help his squad win a pair of crucial AMCC games. He recorded a goal and an assist in a 6-0 win over Franciscan last Wednesday. On Saturday, he scored Penn State Altoona's first goal in a 2-1 double-overtime upset of rival Penn State Behrend.

In 14 games this season, Oyler is tied for first on his team with five goals scored and ranks second in points with 12.
