Men's Soccer Clinches Fourth Seed in AMCC Tournament, Will Host Hilbert Saturday
ALTOONA, Pa. - With Pitt-Greensburg's loss at La Roche College this afternoon, the Penn State Altoona men's soccer team has clinched the fourth seed in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Tournament, earning home field advantage for the first round of the playoffs.
The Lions, who finished the regular season with a 6-3 record in the conference, will host fifth-seeded Hilbert College this Saturday, October 27 at 2:00 PM at Spring Run Stadium for a first round AMCC Tournament game.
Penn State Altoona hosted Hilbert for a regular season game on October 13, defeating the Hawks 3-0. Saturday's game marks the first-ever postseason meeting between the two teams.
