11/16/2012 — HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Penn State Altoona was topped 88-64 by Mount Aloysius College on Friday evening in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic hosted by Juniata College.
Although the Lions and Mounties are Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponents, the game is officially scored as a non-conference matchup because it precedes the conference schedule.

Jonathan Ross (Columbia, SC/Cross Creek) added 12 points for the Lions, and Mitch Moyer (Port Matilda, PA/Bald Eagle) contributed 10 points.
John Brennan (Philadelphia, PA/St. John Neumann-Goretti) grabbed a team-best 10 boards, and Durant Harvin (Baltimore, MD/Franklin) dished out six assists to lead Penn State Altoona.
Ross' three-pointer at 14:52 tied the game at 12-12, but Mount Aloysius took off on an 11-0 run over the next five minutes to take a 25-12 lead.
The Mounties added to their lead and maintained it throughout the second half.
Penn State Altoona continues play tomorrow in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic against Kean University with a 2:00 PM tip-off time.
