AMCC Releases Fall All-Sportsmanship Team
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released its 2012 Fall All-Sportsmanship Team, which included one Penn State Altoona student-athlete for each of the school's seven fall semester sports.
The All-Sportsmanship Team is the only AMCC award that is voted on by the student-athletes. Each team in the conference votes to select a representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team. This individual is expected to exemplify a high level of conduct both on and off the field.
Here are the seven Penn State Altoona student-athletes selected to the Fall All-Sportsmanship Team in their respective sports:
-Women's Volleyball: Robin Tabaka (New Stanton, PA/Hempfield)
-Men's Golf: Tom Trexler (Bellwood, PA/Bellwood-Antis)
-Women's Cross Country: Macy Yingling (Bedford, PA/Bedford)
-Men's Cross Country: Michael Lock (Juniata County, PA/Juniata)
-Women's Soccer: Katy Hartigan (Drexel Hill, PA/Upper Darby)
-Men's Soccer: Quinn Oyler (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg)
-Women's Tennis: Katelyn Piper (Roaring Spring, PA/Martinsburg Central)
The Winter and Spring All-Sportsmanship Teams will be announced during the latter stages of the 2013 spring semester.
