Lady Lions Defeated 61-38 at Pitt-Greensburg

12/12/2012 — GREENSBURG, Pa. - Penn State Altoona women's basketball fell 61-38 to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference foe Pitt-Greensburg on Wednesday night at Chambers Hall.

Moira Corrigan (Havertown, PA/Haverford) led the Lady Lions with 13 points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Alidia Strouse (State College, PA/State College) added nine points for the Lady Lions.

After a Strouse free throw started the game's scoring, Pitt-Greensburg put the next 10 points on the board through the 15:39 mark, en route to a 24-15 lead by halftime.

The Lady Bobcats continued to expand their lead in the second half, shooting 51.9% from the field during the period.
