Women's Basketball Downed 53-26 by Penn State Behrend

1/6/2013 — ALTOONA, Pa. - Penn State Altoona women's basketball lost 53-26 to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference rival Penn State Behrend on Sunday afternoon in the Adler Gym.

Moira Corrigan (Havertown, PA/Haverford) grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds to go along with eight points and three blocks.

Tamara Thomas (Altoona, PA/Altoona) added six points and eight rebounds for the Lady Lions.

Penn State Behrend limited the Lady Lions to a 19.6% shooting percentage and forced 29 turnovers. The visitors held a 30-6 advantage in points off turnovers and also outscored Penn State Altoona 20-9 in second chance points.
