College Skills Clinic Scheduled for April 14
Penn State Altoona is hosting a College Skills Clinic for high school basketball players on April 14 in the Adler Gym.
Registration is $20 per participant. The session runs from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, and the clinic is open to athletes entering grades 10-12 or post-high school graduates.
The clinic is designed to provide high school basketball players training to advance their skills and prepare them to play at the collegiate level. It will provide the opportunity to participate in an individual workout, a simulated team practice, competitive play, and a classroom session on chasing your dreams.
The clinic will be directed by Penn State Altoona men's basketball head coach Billy Clapper, and he will be assisted by the Lions' coaching staff and current players. Each participant will receive a Penn State Altoona basketball t-shirt and a workout packet reviewing instruction learned at the clinic.
"We are really excited to do our college skills clinic this April," said Clapper. "It has become a very successful clinic that has allowed us to have the chance to teach basketball skills to high school players from around the region."
