Men's Tennis Swept 5-0 by Behrend in AMCC First Round Match
4/20/2013 — PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Penn State Altoona men's tennis team's season came to an end on Saturday afternoon when they lost 5-0 to Penn State Behrend in the first round of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championships at Oxford Athletic Club.
Penn State Altoona entered the weekend as the #3 seed in the conference, garnering a matchup with #2 seed Penn State Behrend.
Penn State Behrend won 8-2, 8-3, and 8-2 in doubles play. In #1 and #3 singles, they won 6-0, 6-0 and 6-4, 6-3, respectively, to tip the score and clinch a 5-0 win.
Penn State Altoona finishes the 2013 season with a 6-6 overall record and a 4-2 AMCC record.
