Terpack Named Second Team ECAC All-Star
CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Penn State Altoona baseball's senior outfielder Ken Terpack (Rennerdale, PA/Chartiers Valley) added another postseason recognition to his resume when he was named to the Eastern College Athlete Conference (ECAC) Division III South Region All-Star Team, which was released on Friday by the conference office.
Terpack was voted into a spot on the Second Team of the All-Star squad, marking the first time in his four-year career that he earned ECAC All-Star status. Last month, Terpack was selected to the First Team of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference All-Conference Team for the first time in his collegiate career.
Terpack enjoyed a career year for Penn State Altoona in 2013, leading his team in nearly every offensive category. He posted team-highs for the Lions in batting average (.397), slugging percentage (.634), on base percentage (.438), runs scored (32), hits (52), runs batted in (27), triples (3), home runs (5), total bases (83), and stolen bases (8). He also led the AMCC in home runs and total bases, while ranking fourth in batting average and third in hits.
Penn State Altoona baseball finished with a 13-28 overall record, including a 7-9 mark in the conference.
