Lions Soccer Shut Out 6-0 at #15 Swarthmore

8/31/2013 — SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Penn State Altoona men's soccer dropped another non-conference game on Saturday night, losing 6-0 to #15 Swarthmore College.

The Garnet opened the scoring at 1:47 when Devon Baughen took a pass and scored from the left side of the goal.

Joe Keedy and Michael Stewart added goals at 14:02 and 18:02, respectively, to help Swarthmore to a 3-0 lead at halftime. The home team added three more goals by 64:17.

Aaron Ballish (Apollo, PA/Kiski) made eight saves for the Lions in the loss. Karl Stephan (Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley) led the team with four shots attempted.

Swarthmore held a 25-6 advantage over Penn State Altoona in shots, including a 14-1 mark in shots on goal.
