Men's Golf Places Fifth in Sunday's Mount Aloysius Invitational

9/8/2013 — EBENSBURG, Pa. - Penn State Altoona men's golf began its 2013 schedule on Sunday afternoon in the Mount Aloysius College Invitational at Ebensburg Country Club. The Lions placed fifth out of nine teams at the event, combining for a score of 332.

Mount Aloysius won the event, shooting a combined 311. Penn State Behrend placed second with a score of 313.

Derek Duttry (Bloomsburg, PA/Central Columbia) posted the lowest score for Penn State Altoona, shooting a 78.

Brad Swindell (Everett, PA/Everett) shot an 80, Mackenzie Flasher (Greensburg, PA/Greater Latrobe) posted an 81, and Evan Perry (Canton, PA/Canton) had the fourth-best score on the team with an 84.

The Lions continue their schedule on Monday when they host the Penn State Altoona Invitational at Sinking Valley Country Club.
