Men Finish Sixth, Women Place Ninth at Behrend Cross Country Invitational
9/14/2013 — ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Altoona's cross country teams competed in the Penn State Behrend Invitational on Saturday. The men's team secured sixth place out of 14 teams, while the women came in ninth out of 14.
The men's team was led by Nathan Repetz (New Cumberland, PA/Cedar Cliff) in the 8K. Repetz placed 17th out of 137 runners with a time of 26:54.7.
Jason Anna (Slippery Rock, PA/Slippery Rock) came in 19th with a time of 27:01.0.
Jacob Dean (Shade Gap, PA/Southern Huntingdon) finished 38th in 28:02.4.
For the women in the 5K race, Kristen Cummings (Pittsburgh, PA/Brentwood) was the squad's leader, placing 40th out of 123 runners. She crossed the finish line at 21:20.5.
Charlotte Searle (Boiling Springs, PA/Boiling Springs) was 43rd with a time of 21:23.8.
Makayla Pearce (Lewistown, PA/Indian Valley/Mifflin County) came in 50th place, clocking in at 21:44.2.
