Men's Soccer Shuts Out Pitt-Greensburg 2-0

10/9/2013 — GREENSBURG, Pa. - Penn State Altoona men's soccer bested Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference foe Pitt-Greensburg 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon. For the Lions, the win is their second in the conference this season.

The teams played to a scoreless tie by halftime before Dan Kennedy (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) put Penn State Altoona on the scoreboard at 59:59 when he scored on a free kick from just beyond the box.

At 76:30, Garrett Storm (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) doubled the Lions' lead when he scored on a penalty kick.

Aaron Ballish (Apollo, PA/Kiski) made one save for the shutout -- his second of the year.
