Men's Cross Country Places Seventh in CMU Invitational



10/12/2013 — PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Penn State Altoona men's cross country came in seventh place out of 16 teams in Saturday's Carnegie Mellon University Invitational 8K race at Schenley Park.

The women's squad did not place but did compete in the 5K women's race.

Jason Anna (Slippery Rock, PA/Slippery Rock) was the top runner for the men, placing 37th out of 202 male runners with a time of 27:37.7.

Nathan Repetz (New Cumberland, PA/Cedar Cliff) was 46th with a time of 27:55.1.

Jacob Dean (Shade Gap, PA/Southern Huntingdon) placed 61st, recording a time of 28:20.2.

On the women's side, Khristina Slobodnik (Altoona, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle) finished in 21:53.6 to lead the Lady Lions and place 97th out of 193 female runners.

Kristen Cummings (Pittsburgh, PA/Brentwood) was 114th with a time of 22:23.7, followed by Charlotte Searle (Boiling Springs, PA/Boiling Springs) at 22:25.1 in 115th place.
