Women's Cross Country Places 29th at ECAC Championship


11/9/2013 — BRISTOL, R.I. - In its final race of the 2013 season, the Penn State Altoona women's cross country team came in 29th place out of 47 teams in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Championship 6K at Colt State Park on Saturday.

In her final collegiate race, senior Kristen Cummings (Pittsburgh, PA/Brentwood) placed 136th out of 327 runners with a time of 26:00.01 to lead the Lady Lions.

Khristina Slobodnik (Altoona, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle) finished 139th with a time of 26:02.00, and Charlotte Searle (Boiling Springs, PA/Boiling Springs) followed shortly after with a time of 26:04.49 to come in 142nd.

Makayla Pearce (Lewistown, PA/Indian Valley/Mifflin County) placed 201st with a time of 27:26.66, and Natasha Csicsmann (Chantilly, VA/Chantilly) rounded out the squad by coming in 303rd and clocking in at 31:41:06.
