Men's Cross Country Finishes in Upper Tier of Teams at ECAC Championship
11/9/2013 — BRISTOL, R.I. - The Penn State Altoona men's cross country team capped off an impressive 2013 campaign by placing 16th out of 46 teams in Saturday's Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Championship 8K at Colt State Park.
Nathan Repetz (New Cumberland, PA/Cedar Cliff) was the Lions' top runner, coming in 63rd place out of 327 runners with a time of 27:23.21.
Jason Anna (Slippery Rock, PA/Slippery Rock) placed 73rd, clocking in at 27:34.00, and Jacob Dean (Shade Gap, PA/Southern Huntingdon) crossed the finish line a few places later to finish 80th with a time of 27:43.01.
Tyler Hatton (Raleigh, NC/North Raleigh Christian Academy) was 117th with a time of 28:26.12, Shawn Lichvar (Indiana, PA/United) followed at 125th place and finished in 28:31.64, and Patrick Parker (Milroy, PA/Mifflin County) placed 136th in 28:41.20.
Marcus Spisso (Greensburg, PA/Greensburg-Salem) rounded out the group, finishing 175th with a time of 29:14.60.
