Women's Bowling Splits Matches at Medaille

11/9/2013 — BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Penn State Altoona women's bowling team added one win and one loss to its record against Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Medaille College on Saturday afternoon.

In the team match, Medaille prevailed 1552-1324. But the Lady Lions rallied for a 970-846 win in the baker.

Jasmine Thomas (Waldorf, MD/Thomas Stone) bowled 151 in two games during the team match, leading the Lady Lions in total pinfall with 302 pins. Brea Suchonic (Butler, PA/Butler) had the highest score, bowling a 165 in game two.

In the baker, Penn State Altoona posted a high game of 223 to help their cause. Suchonic averaged 17.06 for 16 frames of baker play, while Chelsea Ritts (Altoona, PA/Altoona) averaged 15.69 for 13 frames.
