Men's Swimming Earns 129-66 Win at Frostburg
11/16/2013 — FROSTBURG, Md. - The Penn State Altoona men's swimming team posted its second consecutive dual meet victory on Saturday afternoon when it defeated non-conference opponent Frostburg State University.
The Lions have not lost a dual meet so far this year, going 3-0-1.
Penn State Altoona won its first event of the day when Brendan Farren (Monroeville, PA/Gateway) finished atop the standings in the 1500 Freestyle, clocking in at 19:00.87. Later in the meet, he won the 400 Freestyle with a time of 4:43.59.
Kyle Huber (Spring Grove, PA/Spring Grove) picked up a win in the 200 Freestyle, finishing in 2:16.62.
In the 50 Freestyle, Benjamin Porter (West Chester, PA/Unionville) placed first with a time of 26.13.
Zachary Jones (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) won the 100 Butterfly in 1:03.80.
Alex Fisher (Clearfield, PA/Clearfield) finished in first place in the 100 Freestyle, clinching a time of 58.16.
In the 100 Backstroke, Jay Wareham (Leesburg, VA/Loudoun County) came in first with a time of 1:09.56.
Porter, Fisher, Huber, and Wareham finished the day with a combined victory in the 200 Freestyle Relay, clocking in at 1:44.56.
