Lady Lions in Second After Day One of AMCC Quad Match Play

11/16/2013 — ALTOONA, Pa. - Penn State Altoona women's bowling hosted the first-ever Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference quad match on Saturday at Holiday Bowl, and the Lady Lions were in second place out of four teams by the day's end.

In team play, Penn State Altoona totaled 2163 pins -- just five shy of Medaille College's lead of 2168.

Abbi Noel (Altoona, PA/Altoona) had the highest pinfall for her squad in the team match portion of the day, tallying 473 pins. Kelsey Ryan (Delran, NJ/Holy Cross) was close behind with 470 pins, while Brea Suchonic (Butler, PA/Butler) had 466.

In the baker format, Penn State Altoona recorded two wins and one loss.

Competition for the quad match resumes on Sunday at 9:00 AM.
