Men's Tennis Bested 8-1 by Pitt-Greensburg
3/23/2014 — ALTOONA, Pa. - Penn State Altoona men's tennis lost 8-1 on Sunday afternoon to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference foe Pitt-Greensburg at ProCare Health and Fitness Center.
Adam Hack (York, PA/York Catholic) recorded the lone win for the Lions, as he defeated his opponent 6-2, 6-0 in No. 2 singles.
Penn State Altoona was edged in all three doubles matches, falling by scores of 8-4, 8-5, and 8-3. The Bobcats proceeded to win five out of the six singles matches to seal the victory.
Men's tennis returns to action this Wednesday, March 26, when the squad hits the road to face non-conference opponent Susquehanna University for a 3:30 PM match.
