Men's Cross Country Team Wins AMCC Peak Performer Award
AMCC FALL 2013 PEAK PERFORMER AWARDS
4/8/2014 — PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The AMCC celebrates day two of NCAA Division III Week by honoring seven fall sport teams who achieved the highest overall cumulative grade point averages among their peer institutions in the conference, and one of these teams is the Penn State Altoona men's cross country squad.
The Lions cross country team posted the top GPA of all AMCC men's cross country programs by recording a 3.41 team GPA. This is the first Peak Performer award that the team has garnered since the accolade was created.
The Team Peak Performer awards were established two years ago to recognize outstanding academic achievement by one team in each sport.
