Lions Tennis Loses 8-1 at Frostburg

4/10/2014 — FROSTBURG, Md. - Penn State Altoona men's tennis fell 8-1 at non-conference opponent Frostburg State University on Thursday.

The Lions' lone point came from the No. 3 doubles flight, where the duo of Alex Albright (Altoona, PA/Altoona)/Joseph Settimio (Altoona, PA/Altoona) played to an 8-4 victory over their opponents.

Frostburg swept all six singles matches after taking two out of three in doubles.

The men's tennis team falls to 1-5 overall with Thursday's loss. Next, the Lions finish their home schedule with an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match against D'Youville College this Saturday, April 12 at 3:00 PM. The match is currently scheduled to be held outdoors at the Adler Tennis Courts, weather permitting.
