Off-Campus Housing Referrals

The Off-Campus Housing referral service offers a number of opportunities to students:

(1) we assist students by providing general information on housing
facilities and how to select housing,
(2) we act in a consultation and referral capacity,
(3) we attempt to assist students if they encounter difficulties, and
(4) we only list property owners who agree not to discriminate on
      racial or ethnic grounds.

Several area landlords have come together to participate in a COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT program with Penn State Altoona. This agreement enables a student to secure off-campus housing space now, and if they are offered on-campus housing from the "wait list" before August 8, 2008, the student will be unconditionally released from his/her lease and granted a full refund of any monies collected. For a listing of participating landlords, please access the Cooperative Providers Agreement, clicking on "COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT" above. Please contact the landlord directly for additional information.
