"This program is geared toward the artist seeking knowledge of their craft. The most important thing I learned as a student is the importance of one’s will. The intimate connections that I made with the professors here have prepared me for my next chapter- Graduate School. Not only do I feel confident about entering the world outside of a college setting, but I am eager to continue working on my craft and communicating with the world via my art. When I started college, I didn’t know my major, I didn’t know if I was going to stay at Altoona for 4 years, and I never expected to gain acceptance to one of the most prestigious acting schools in the world, but I most definitely worked hard to get it. The world won’t grant you baskets full of the freshest fruit- there’s a process involved. The seed must be planted and the tree must be taken care of. Growth requires nurturing and nurturing in my world, is practice with a hefty dash of passion, and that’s what I got from Penn State Altoona."
